Who Is Mel?

I'm a professional, certified personal trainer who knows how to help people achieve their goals. I pride myself in being empathetic with most people who join Weight Loss By Mel because I've been there. I was, in a nutshell, a lazy fat slob ten years ago. Fast forward to today and I've competed in hundreds of road races and triathlons. I finished the Ironman Triathlon and ran a marathon a day for 18 days as I ran from San Diego to Phoenix. Did I imagine any of these feats as I ate and drank my way to obesity so long ago? Heck no!

I still compete in as many races as I can because I love the rush of the starting line. But my passion in life is helping people lead the fit and healthy life they imagine for themselves. As a personal trainer and mentor, I've guided hundreds of people to their health and fitness goals. But there has always been a sense of lacking because I can only coach so many people in a day. Which ultimately was the inspiration for Weight Loss By Mel. I want to empower as many people as I possibly can and realize that on-line training is the best way to reach the greater population of our society, most of which cannot afford the $40-100 an hour fee for face-to-face personal training.

In creating Weight Loss By Mel, I am using my expertise, education and knowledge to help you reach the goals you set for yourself. As well as giving you the motivation and inspiration you are going to need since I understand first hand how challenging it can be lead the life you are meant to live….after all, This Is Not A Practice Life!
